From working professionals to competitive or recreational endurance athletes, SWSI welcomes anyone who wants to improve their health or performanc. Our classes improve strength, balance and stability while focusing on injury prevention to benefit athletic and fitness performance in all aspects.
Foam Rolling Class 3rd Monday of Every Month - 6:30 - 7:00pm $30 for members & $35 for nonmembers *Includes 3ft Foam Roller Foam rolling is an effective and inexpensive way to provide trigger point relief through self massage. This class is designed to help teach individuals how to receive the maximum benefits from using a foam roller through in-depth instruction of proper techniques.
Intro to Functional Strength Training Monday - 6:00 - 6:45am Monday - 5:30 - 6:15pm This class is geared for the endurance athlete currently in season or individuals getting back into a structured strength training program. This class focuses on low volume with emphasis on flexibility and core strength.
Extreme Circuit Monday - 6:30 - 7:30pm *Active participation from instructor Our hardest workout that focuses on a full body intense workout. Bring your friends and test your fitness levels. Physical/athletic evaluation will take place to determine if member can participate in Extreme Circuit.
Circuit Monday/Friday - 8:30 - 9:15am Tuesday/Thursday - 5:30 - 6:15pm *Active participation from instructor Enjoy a great 45min workout to get your body engaged in physical activity. Every single exercise challenges your fitness levels regardless of whether you are a beginner or a seasoned athlete. Circuit is a fun, challenging, and fast-paced class with different full body workouts every time.
Outdoor Circuit Tuesday/Thursday - 6:30 - 7:15pm Heritage Hills Park *Active participation from instructor FREE to EVERYONE at Heritage Hills Park in the northeast (Ventura between San Antonio and Paseo del Norte). Enjoy a great 45min workout to get your body engaged in physical activity. You do not have to member to take it. Bring your friends and enjoy a great workout in the wonderful evening weather.
Endurance Circuit Tuesday/Thursday - 6:00 - 7:00am *Active participation from instructor Improve overall performance and decrease your rate of injury by attending our classes that address balance, stability and strength.
Fundamentals Tuesday/Thursday - 5:15 - 6pm Geared towards Youth Athletes from ages 9-14. This is the perfect place for kids to learn how to move regarding safety and form. Fundamentals builds a strong foundation toward youth fitness by focusing on core stability, balance, movement fundamentals and coordination.
Strength Circuit Wednesday - 5:30 - 6:15pm *Active participation from instructor Enjoy a great 45min workout that focuses on building strength and increasing size. This class incorporates traditional weight lifting exercises in our circuit style class format.
Adult Sport Conditioning Wednesday - 6:30 - 7:30pm *Active participation from instructor For people seeking to increase their fitness level. This class focuses on: Speed/Agility, Power/Strength, Cardio Fitness, and Overall Athleticism.
Intro TRX Suspension Training Friday - 6:30 - 7:30am Use state of the art TRX Suspension straps to get a workout like you have never experienced. This program focuses on your core and helps with overall body stabilization.
Intro Circuit Saturday - 8:00 - 8:45am For new members or beginners. Get introduced to our system and style and enjoy a great 45min workout to get your body engaged in physical activity. A little slower paced, a little less intense than our regular circuit class.
Circuit Saturday - 9:00 - 9:45am *Active participation from instructor This 45 min, station-based circuit class consists of strength, speed, power, agility, endurance and stability among other functional exercises. Challenge yourself with a wide variety of exercises and intensities whether you are a first time exerciser or a seasoned veteran. Plus, every class ends with a challenge to help push you beyond your own barriers.
Yoga Wed- 6:00-7:15am Thurs- 6:30-7:45pm Take some time to experience an early morning restoration through a sequence of asanas (poses) of which emphasize alignment. Looking to completely wind up and then back down at the end of your day. This class is bound to convert you into a regular. Less restorative and more movement.
